Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
I'm pretty new to boarding and was recommended to try out this board by a friend. This is an incredible board! I had just been renting prior to picking this one up and what a difference it makes to actually have a good quality board. It's light and maneuverable but is still really stable. It's FAST too...holy smokes is it fast. It's an absolute blast to ride on and I fully recommend it for anyone looking for a solid, fun, all-mountain board.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
rode it for the first time today and it was a frigging blast!been renting a while and finally bought my own and it was a great decision. its very responsive and the turns were much easier,it is fast as others has mentioned i have to speed check just to get back to reality.there were times that i would have probably ate it if it was not for the lowpro rocker,it sure does work well.hope to get more snow to ride this on powder.great board!

Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
Well after 12 years of riding, this is only my 3rd board. My previous was an '06 Ride Kink which I just broke in the glades over a rock. And before that a Dukes Generator from the late 90's. Both of those boards had camber which was all I ever knew about snowboarding so I thought they were great. But even though the Kink had camber, it was still light years ahead of anything from the 90's, much lighter and flexible and better construction. So my first full day on this Antic was truly eye opening. Immediately it felt weird because the rear was biting harder than I was used to, but that's a good thing. This board really hooks up great in backside turns. I blame that on the LowPro design. Amazing, Ride. Is camber dead? And as others owners have said, it's easier to straight-line on the Antic than the other boards I've owned. Because the stance is more rear set compared to my 06 Kink, I feel more stable cruising down and popping off small mounds of snow. I haven't hit any big jumps yet, but my confidence is back even as I'm now 40.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
I ride mostly in S. lake (kirkwood, sierra) but every once in awhile make my way up to the Truckee resorts (alpine, squaw). I have the 2010 162W version and this board is excellent for the steep and deep. This is my favorite board for powder days; really good for bombing down the mountain. Very stable at high speeds. The sidewalls really do their job at cutting through the garbage on the groomers when it's icy too. I'm hardly ever in the park so no comment there. The only thing not making this a 5-star board for me is it's a little too flexy for my taste and the top sheet isn't the most durable I have had from Ride. Overall: great for big mountain riding. don't buy if you like to hammer on your equipment.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
Unbelievably stable at speed - I actually straight-lined a whole run! Holds an edge and carves beautifully. Rockered nose gives good performance in deep snow with reduced edge catching. Brilliant board.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Antic:
I ride everything with this board. I can't even explain how good this thing carves, rides at fast speeds, and floats on powder. It carves amazing! I have gotton so close to the ground while carving i could lick the ground, the edges grip eveything and never catch (Slimewalls). Bumps are no problem, ride over them like theyre not there. Powder and carving are what this board loves, floats and carves like no other board i've ever ridden. I've been riding it all season and it barely has any dings or scratches on it at all, the surface shows no scratches and the sidewalls can take a beating and not even show it. Also, in the park it slides real good and soaks up kicker landings like nothing. The only problem ive had is the metal edge cracked in the middle, i hit it off a box.

90A SLIMEWALLS
Ride's exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
