Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
Live in Australia. Have ridden in many countries but bought the machete for our season just ended. Ripped up the fresh soft and the hard and the slush as you do in one typical aussie day and loved it all. You will never find me in the park so no comment there but it stomped all the incidental jumps that I found along the way. I ride all mountain as aggressively as I can for a 49 year old going on 25 and cannot recommend the machete highly enough. Probably not a beginner board. Looking forward to taking it to North America early next year as it loved the soft.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
I have been snowboarding for 18 years.... I've had Ride, Burton, and Liquid snowboards. I've always liked Ride Snowboards the best. I purchased the Ride Machete 160 this year after doing some research and reading reviews. The board definitely lives up to the hype. It carves great through groom and charges through choppy snow. I've ridden it through deep powder as well as icy conditions and it just tears through it. Give it all you've got, it'll respond great for ya. The lowrise rocker makes transitioning from edge to edge at high speed so smooth. I'm getting more pop with this board and it's suprisingly lightweight. All this talk has made me want to go ride.... hope this helps!

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
I have a 160, this is an awesome board! I have been skateboading for over 10 years, this is my second season now on the snowboard, my previous board (K2 fatbob) didn't help translate much of my skateboarding skill over, but this board has really helped me improve my skill snowboarding. I have progressed very fast on it, in the park and just elsewhere on the mountain. I love riding trees and bowls, groomers on the front and in the park too, and this board feels like a Porsche. Very light and maneuverable, and in the powder it rides AWESOME. The K2 would sink in powder and not have much response, this is the exact opposite. Sharp, agile, and floats right through it, every time I go up (Copper mountain!) it continues to impress, and I progress more noticably with each trip up.
I waited a few months of owning and riding this board before I made my review, but now that I am here posting I am more sure than ever that this was the best choice I could have made. Perhaps could have gone with a shorter board to spin better in the park, but I think the length helps a lot in the powder which I also love riding in a lot. This board is great, thanks guys for making it, it has made me into a better rider and helps bring over all my skill from skateboarding to snowboarding.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
I only rode the machete twice since i bought it. The first impression is very good. I could not test it in powder yet but can tell you that the board behaves perfectly on icy hard snow. I have the impression that it is easier to ollie although im not a big park rider.
To summarize the board I would describe it as very forgiving and just pure fun. It feels light and soft.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
Been riding for 13 years, I got this board for Christmas and I was lucky to have fresh powder in NJ two days after Christmas. This board is everything i expected it to be... I spent prob two-three weeks researching on and off what board to get and I just couldn't find any negative reviews about the board besides it being a lil to stiff, which it is. The Machete holds solid and smooth at high speeds, easy to throw around in the park on jibs and jumps. Performed ok in the powder that I had. You can't go wrong with this board. I have the Delta MVMNT bindings on this board and they are sick as well.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
Since this was my first rocker it probably wasn't the best idea to ride the Pre-Jib contest first time on it. However after about two or three warm up runs I got the hang of it and was hitting everything that I had expected to hit. This destroys all rails and is just a little sketchy on landings. Even though I'm just feeling it out to this point I'm in love with just how amazing the ride is. Keep up the good work Ride

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
I live in the Southern Appalachians so we have bad snow and ice often. No problem, this board holds an edge on anything so far without any washout at speed. Great in the park with no hookups and a lot more pop than I expected. On the down side it is a little stiff on presses and butters but that is the sacrifice for the added pop. All and all this is one of the best rockers I've ridden.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete:
This board is SIICK!!! The 152 and similar color schemes are definitely more neon than the image shows and the white has a super holographic image to it so it is DEFINITELY STEEZY!!! It has a lot of pop and it is a LITTLE stiff for my liking but its stability makes up for it so it can hold its own on the kickers rails!
